Good news for Sky subscribers checking out the stunning new Samsung Galaxy S4 as the British based broadcast co. is planning to make its on-the-move Sky Go app available for the flagship smartphone from release day!
The crown jewel in Samsung’s crown for 2013, the Galaxy S4 goes on sale in the U.K next Thursday the 26th of April and Sky has announced that its popular software will be supported by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on the powerful phone which boasts 1.9GHz quad-core processing speeds. And provided Sky customers have got a decent Wi-Fi connection nearby or a respectable 3G service telly faves such as Game of Thrones and the new Sky Disney movie channel can be watched anytime, anywhere.
The basic Sky Go app is free to download from the Google Play Store offering live and catch-up TV for TV shows, movies and sports and an Extra version is also available at a small charge which brings all that and the potential to store Sky programming to watch offline later.
As well as making the app available for Samsung Galaxy S4 other new smartphones to support the app have been announced as the HTC One and Motorola Razr HD.
Apple fans can also enjoy Sky Go which can be downloaded for iPhone and iPad via the App Store.
