Whilst Google may have released its latest version of Android in the form of 4.4 KitKat, many handsets are still 2 steps behind the latest software version and are still awaiting the previous Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.
Well, reports are in today that owners of Samsung’s pocket friendly Galaxy S4 Mini will soon be receiving the slightly older software version from today.
Jelly Bean 4.3 is supposedly landing on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, with the roll-out currently underway in Canada via the native Bell, Rogers and Telus networks.

Tech website MobileSyrup reports that the 4.3 software will soon be landing on S4 Minis, which is normally a good indication of other international territories also receiving the update soon after.
The Android 4.3 update for the Samsung Galaxy range of phones brings along all the new software and security updates of the Google’s standard Jelly Bean build but also compatibility for use with the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch and a host of other improvements added into the mix courtesy of Samsung.
This update should also bring Samsung KNOX, Bluetooth 4.0 LE smart technology and OpenGL: ES 3.0 graphics support for better gaming to Galaxy S4 Mini. The update is being sent out over the air so customers in Canada (and hopefully soon, around the world) will receive the update directly on their mobiles, and we will keep users posted on when the update lands on European shores.
