Samsung released amped up Galaxy S5 Plus in Europe

Samsung are probably not having the year the expected when it comes to mobile phone sales, but the company is continuing its dedication to the Samsung Galaxy S5 handsets, by quietly releasing a souped up version of its flagship Android handset, in the Netherlands.

The company have released a new Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus (G901F)  in the Netherlands, which comes in with a new faster 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor in place of the original Galaxy S5’s Snapdragon 801 processor.

With the existing Adreno 420 GPU, this new CPU will see a decent increase in the handsets Graphics and Battery capabilities for the handset. The rest of the handset remains unchanged from its S5 predecessor, with a 5.1in 1080p display, 2GB RAM, a 2,800mAh battery and internal storage starting at 16GB (expandable via micro SD).

It still sports a 16MP camera with 4K video recording, 3G, 4G/LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and heart rate and fingerprint sensors all in a IP67 water and dust resistance casing that should make the phone tough,

Samsung have recently been putting a big focus on the Galaxy S5 Prime, which carries the same specs, but with a premium design to the plastic based S5 standard.
