Additionally, the XPERIA T will be going on sale via O2 as an exclusive Bond Phone version, which is released in conjunction with the new James Bond Skyfall film.

The latest in the Xperia family from the now Ericsson-free Sony mobiles division boasts Bravia screen tech just like the stuff found in the Japanese gadget giant’s tellies, but scaled down to a tidy 4.6 inch multi-touch display which promises to deliver sharp 720p by 1280p high definition images and streaming video content right to the palm of our hand.

Comfort is also key with the Xperia T and the device features an ergonomically pleasing and stylish looking curved back casing with a rubberised finish. You can also customise the keyboard arrangement in three alternate modes to best suit your typing style.

As for the innards, the Sony Xperia T runs the current Android standard 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (presumably upgradable to 4.1 Jelly Bean when available – as previously stated by Sony) on a nippy 1.5GHz dual-core processor supported by a generous 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. If that’s not enough there’s plenty more on offer with the gadget’s MicroSD card expansion slot. There’s the added bonus of a toggle feature for quick switching between Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC connections, and the Xperia T features a non-too-shabby camera too, packing 13-megapixels into the rear-facing shooter.

In addition to all this, in the box you’ll also find a battery, charger and a 24 month manufacturer’s warranty, and the bundle will set you back £414.98 including the VAT through Unlocked Mobiles.
