Sync software brings iTunes to HTC Rhyme and Sensation XL

  • by

“Quietly Brilliant” HTC have quietly sneaked out a new software feature that benefits the music loving mobile owner and brings all of our favourite iTune tracks over to smartphone. Yes – that means Google’s Android OS supporting Apple’s music store!

The software is called HTC Sync and it’s available for download starting on lady-pleaser the HTC Rhyme and just released in Taiwan special edition HTC Sensation XL – which already comes with the awesome new addition of Beats audio enhanced media playing and street-savvy ear-gear. After installation, plug your smartphone into your PC and HTC Sync will automatically detect your Apple iTunes catalogue and information asking you which tracks you want to be delivered to your mobile gadget.

“We hope consumers will be able to store their music on HTC phones from any platform” said HTC North Asia President Jack Tong at the HTC Sensation XL launch.

This is the first officially released method of syncing up your HTC gadget up with iTunes but a series of bootlegs are available from less trustworthy sources. With hope HTC Sync will appear on future handset releases and become available more widely – bringing the popular iTunes service to older models.
