Users on iOS and Android smartphones (and Tablets ) will now be able to use the Twitter App to access onto the wider range of filter styles for pictures, to set that perfect mood, and the filters will also be easier to use and to sift through your favourites.
To apply the new filters to , users will simply need to upload the image, the tap it to view a new selection of options.

This isn’t the first time Twitter has launched Photo Filters though, as Twitter first launched photo filters back in 2012 after Instagram made filtering your images popular. However the actual use of these filters was not well received as Twitter user interface was not the easiest to navigate. As the screen would divide into a massive array opf images, each with the filter attached, making it hard to decipher.
However, the new iOS and Android rollout will be launching today, and will make the filtering experience a whole lot easier (and similar to Instagram!).
Users will now be offered a row of filters that you can easily tap through to pick the best one, with some of the filters including Radiant, Positive, Warm, Breeze, Glow, Golden, Fame and Stark, each with an adjustable power slider revealed by to increase or decrease the intensity of the filter.
This is one of many minor updates that Titter have been launching for its service in the past few months including bringing back URL’s to direct messaging and the launch of its Popular Tweets section.
The App for iOS and Android will be dropping on smartphones from today, so you can filter every last picture!
