Just recently we have been hearing rumours which suggest that HTC are working on a brand new high-end device, possibly called the HTC One XXL.
And now, not long after those initial rumours, a German tech site has managed to get hold of some leaked screenshots which are allegedly from the new Android device.
As you can see from the screenshots, (which are hopefully not Photoshopped), the new Android smartphone has a codename of HTC One Closurexxl, along with a model number of HTC One XXL, backing up the previous rumours we’ve already heard.
Now, if the hardware information on the screenshots is to be believed, it would seem that HTC is indeed working on its first Qualcomm-based quad-core smartphone – after all, dual-core is becoming a bit dated now isn’t it?
The quad-core processor is reportedly the Snapdragon S4 with Krait architecture, while the graphics capabilities are provided using an Adreno 320 GPU. Unsurprisingly, there will also be more RAM – 2GB in fact. Oh, and LTE support too.
That is as much information as we’ve been able to get hold of at the moment. Hopefully though, we might start to see a little more information leak over the next few weeks – perhaps even a blurry picture of the smartphone too. And, as ever, if we do get any extra juicy info you can be assured we’ll be letting you know.
