While unveiling its MediaPad tablet yesterday (pictured), hardware manufacturer Huawei also managed to spill the beans on the next update to the Android Honeycomb lineage. Android 3.2 is being readied for the new tablet as well as existing Honeycomb tabs, and is set to bring a slew of new features.
Chief on the list is support for smaller 7-inch display sizes, meaning that devices like the HTC Flyer could upgrade to honeycomb if they so chose. To cement that, there’s now support for a wider range of processors, both from Qualcomm and NVidia.
There’s also set to be a raft of near-unnoticable changes to fix underlying bugs. We’re not sure what these are, but we do know that Android 3.2 will also see Google Music Beta and the movies app receive something of a facelift.
