RIM has demoed the Google Android platform functioning on the Blackberry Playbook at Blackberry World Conference in Florida.
This functionality won’t become available to us Joe Publics until later in the year, but eager to show it off at its own conference, RIM gave us all a little sample of what’s in store!
Showing natural coexistence between Android and “native” Playbook apps, the presentation features the Google operating system running alongside Blackberry software easily and without any hitch.
RIM state they have mapped gestures carefully to make sure the Android-on-Playbook experience runs as smoothly as possible and that’s being proven in the videos now leaking onto the web from those lucky enough to have been in attendance.
