Angry Birds will be flying their way onto Windows Marketplace for play on Windows Phone 7 handsets from Monday 25th May.
Interestingly, this news comes following a recent Microsoft bashing from Rovio Mobile, the company behind the game who claim Microsoft to be sloppy with their Xbox updates, which has prevented Angry Birds from landing on the games console.
With a range of seasonal updates to the Angry Birds game and Angry Birds Rio recently dropping, it’s unclear which version of the popular mobile title will hit the Windows platform first but this will mean Windows Phone 7 joins other platforms including Apple’s iOS, Google Android and Nokia Symbian – leaving only Blackberry’s smartphone platform remaining to cater to aggressive avian addicts!
