There is no question that Battlefield 3 has been a massive release and on a whole a massive success with gamers. However, some users have been frustrated due to the fact they have experienced a number of bugs during gameplay.
It’s good news though, as a pretty big patch has landed for PC users which will fix a magnitude of issues and bugs affecting the game. In addition, the update will also bring a number of performance related improvements as well as balance and gameplay tweaks.
In fact, this list of improvements is massive (well for PC users); it may not be as large for console gamers though. Some of the fixes and improvements include:
• Increased the range of all .45cal and 9mm weapons.
• Slightly increased the range of the P90 and MP7 and PDW-R.
• Slightly increased the range of the 5.56mm PDW-R and decreased the minimum damage at long range.
• General performance and loading time improvements
• Ability to share your Profile and Stats pages to Facebook, Google+, and Twitter

The update for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is expected as soon as it passes through the certification process required by both Sony and Microsoft.
