We got a good glimpse at RIM’s upcoming Blackberry Bold Touch last week, and now we’ve been treated to a full specifications list, and it looks promising.
Blackberry news site N4BB got their paws on a confidential specifications document for the Bold Touch, which hints at it being one of the most powerful handsets RIM have produced.
As we already know from the leaked videos last week, the Bold Touch will be running the brand new OS 6.1, which will include multi-touch gestures such as pinch-to-zoom. A 1.2GHz Qualcomm msm8655 processor and 768MB of RAM will provide plenty of power, and coupled with OS 6.1 the Bold Touch should be a very fast handset.
Other notable specs we found on the leaked document are a 5MP rear camera with 720P HD Video recording capabilities, 8GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB via MicroSD), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and a NFC chip for Near Field Communications technology such as mobile payments.
Finally RIM have got it right and opted for a powerful Qualcomm processor! Though we have to stress, any of the specifications may be subject to change between now and the official release.
What are your thoughts on the Bold Touch 9930? Will the touchscreen combine with RIM’s classic QWERTY keyboard to make the best Blackberry to date? Let us know your thoughts via Facebook or Twitter.
