Bush Android Smartphones & Tablets Now For Sale at Argos

Argos owned Bush has bolstered its range of budget-friendly smartphones and tablets by adding a few Android products to the line-up which are now available to buy through the retailer in-store and online.

Starting at just £49.99 the Bush 4-inch smartphone comes SIM-free and features 800 x 480 pixel resolution touchscreen, recent Android 4.4 KitKat, a dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM with 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded to a maximum of 64GB with MicroSD card supported (card sold separately). The handset features a 5-megapixel rear camera only and is ready for dual-SIM use. Connectivity is available through 3G data network, WiFi and Bluetooth.

Interestingly the £79.99 model which is next up in the range includes a larger 5-inch 854 x 480 touchscreen display and quicker quad-core CPU but is only advertised with last season’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Other features follow suit with the 4-inch model including 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, the 5-megapixel camera and dual-SIM. Both models come with interchangeable back cases.

As well as the smartphones, Argos now stocks new Bush Android 4.4 KitKat WiFi-only tablets with aluminium casing and with a variety of sizes including 7-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch touchscreen models available. Each offers 1.3GHz quad-core CPU, 16GB of storage with prices ranging from £69.99 up to £119.99.

These newly listed Android products offer an alternative to the Windows Phone smartphones and tablets made by Bush that are already available through Argos and the selection is shaping up quite nicely. If you’re looking for a starter or casual use smartphone or tablet we recommend giving these a look.

Hi there, I hope you can help. I am trying to find a replacement battery (genuine or not) for the Bush 5 phone. My father has had this phone for several years and it has suddenly stopped working, I really hope I can save his precious photographs from it if I can get hold of a battery.

Good question and thank you. With replaceable batteries, the best thing to do is search the model number that’s actually printed on the battery itself. This will open up more options for a replacement than the phone model would. Hope this helps.
