HTC overtakes Nokia – Addition of Android helps boost in sales

HTC have overtaken Nokia in the smartphone race with the company claiming to have made a whopping $3.6-million in revenue.

Much of this can presumably be attributed to the addition of Android-enabled gadgets to the HTC range. With the Google platform being the people’s favourite, introducing Android is sure to have aided in a boost of sales, which have now made HTC the third largest shifter of mobile phones, leaving Nokia trailing.

The HTC press event will be held on Tuesday 12th April, in London and the creator of “Quietly Brilliant” mobiles will surely be boasting loudly about the official figures.
