Iron Man 3 – Disney and Tesco Team Up for Action on Android and Apple iOS App

Exciting superhero threequel Iron Man 3 blasts into action this week and ahead of this year’s first Marvel movie release franchise owner Disney and supermarket chain Tesco have joined forces to launch a special Android and iOS app to celebrate!

The Stark Armoury app allows kids (and child-minded grown-ups) to enjoy a ‘digital treasure hunt’ through the Tesco stores and QR scan codes can be found throughout with each unlocking another piece of the interactive Marvel experience. Downloaders of the Iron Man 3 app can also enjoy other interactive features such as the chance to take a photo of their face on a smartphone or tablet camera and put themselves in the famous armoured suit as seen on screen.

This promotional partnership between Tesco and Disney will feature retail displays in over 400 store location with everything from Iron Man and Marvel DVDs, toys, clothing and games. The in-store and online campaign will run through to the Iron Man 3 DVD release and the new Thor: The Dark World movie in November and up to Christmas.
