If you happen to be an owner of the LG Optimus 2X, you’ll be pleased to know that the super-fast Android powered smartphone will be getting the latest Gingerbread update fairly soon.
This info comes directly from the FAQ section of LG Denmark’s support site; the exact release date has not been specified, although they have been kind enough to narrow it down to either June or July.
Although there is no mention as yet of a specific date as to when Optimus 2X owners will be able to update to 2.3, the site does promise that exact date will be communicated when the launch date nears.
I’m sure any Optimus 2X owner will be able to tolerate a couple months wait for the latest Android update; after all, it’s better late than never as they say.
