Are you a regular user of Skype? Do you use it to make calls? Frustrated because you have to sit at your computer while calling friends and family? Yes? Well, that can now be a thing of the past, as a company by the name of Freetalk have developed a very handy little adaptor which allows you to connect your home phone directly to the Skype service.
The Freetalk Home Adaptor for Skype (as its officially known) is very simply to set-up, all you need to do is simply connect your home telephone jack into the back of the adaptor, and then connect it to your Broadband router and plug it in to your power socket. After connecting the cables, you’ll then need to access your computer to go through the initial configuration of your Skype account and you’re ready to go.
The adaptor is capable of storing 100 speed dials, while also being able to store 200 contacts. You’ll also get 300 minutes of international calls when you purchase the adaptor.
If you want to get your hands on one now, you can head on over to the Skype Store where it’s currently being sold for £39.99.
