[tab name=’News’]

We have word from our contacts at Unlocked-Mobiles that the desirable new Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone has now become available as a SIM-free model.

The Lumia 900, as our avid readers will already know, is the largest member of the Nokia and Microsoft partnership bringing with it the latest hardware from the Finnish co. combined with the slick and stylish Windows Phone 7 mobile operating software from the American computing giant – which delivers social sites like Facebook and Twitter as well as practical applications such as Outlook and Office at the touch of its innovative tiled user interface.

As for specifications the Lumia 900 features 4.3” display and Windows Phone 7.5 which runs off a 1.4GHz Qualcomm CPU with a respectable 8GB of onboard RAM and an improved camera with HD video recording and a battery capacity which should support all of its advancements on its smaller sibling the Lumia 800. For connectivity the Windows Phone boasts 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth.

The Nokia Lumia 900 arrives SIM-free through costing £445.98 (inc VAT) and comes complimented with battery, charger, users guide and 24 months warranty.

The Gadget Helpline went hands-on with the Nokia Lumia 900 in a previous post and found it to be an enjoyable handset with a lot of cool features. We also found out today that a limited number of Dark Knight Rises themed Windows Phones will be made available soon!
