In a recent report it was revealed that popular sci-fi saga Star Wars has earned a massive $33-billion dollar on toys, video games, movies and more. Another super-power force Apple has just announced the latest upgrade to its mobile operating system for iPhone. What happens when these two galaxy changing brands crossover? You get a furry iPhone case – of course.
That’s right – you will soon be able to purchase a protective cover for your iPhone 4 or 4S which features a fluffy brown fur resembling movie mascot Chewbacca. It even comes complete with ammo sash. But the Wookiee is not the only character to become a case in this officially licensed line-up for Apple’s smartphone range.
There’s also the two droids. R2D2 coming in a blue and white which raised accents and realistic engraved details with shiny counterpart C3PO arriving in shiny gold, the case representing the droid’s chest plate. For Star Wars and Apple fans who want a little dark side flavour to their gadget, they can represent the Sith with the Darth Vader iPhone case, the same authentic detailing and of course in black with the front of the Dark Lord’s sinister suit complete with chest box.
