UK gamers will be the first to play the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ahead of its November 8th release date when a hands-on demo arrives this September exclusively from retailer GAME.
GAMEfest is GAME’s own gaming festival (wouldn’t you guess) and lucky attendees at the 3-day Birmingham NEC event will be able to get to grips with the latest instalment of the ultra-popular first-person shooter franchise two months ahead of everyone else.
GAME’s Marketing Director Anna-Marie Mason says “We are delighted that GAMEfest attendees can be the first consumers in the UK to have the opportunity to get hands-on with Modern Warfare 3 before it releases to the world. We know that our customers love to be first to play and with this year’s sneak peek of the newest instalment of Call of Duty, GAMEfest once again proves it is absolutely the place to be.”
The festival will be the place to be to enjoy the latest titles before launch day. To get in and get your game on you will need to own one of those GAME Reward Cards, sign up online and purchase a ticket – with the price only £10 (£5 for kids) and the event running from September 16th – 18th. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches on Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC on November 8th.
