Wouldn’t it be useful if you could know exactly how much battery life your iPhone has left in it? When it’s getting near to the end of the day and your battery indicator shows somewhere around a quarter, but you want to know if you’ve got enough for one more game of Angry Birds on the bus home.
Thankfully Apple builds in the option to show battery life by percentage, allowing you to calculate exactly how much usage you have left. It’s a really simple setting to turn on and off, and we find it’s a massive help for managing your device’s battery.
This tip works on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad:
- Open Settings
- Tap General
- Tap Usage
- Toggle the ‘Battery Percentage’ switch On
That’s it! A nice and simple tip that you’ll wish you knew from the very start. Now you’ll be able to know exactly how much juice your gadget has left, and whether you can really get away with a quick blast on Amazing Alex.
