SEGA Serves Up Virtua Tennis on iPhone & iPad – Multiplayer Wi-Fi Play in Time for Wimbledon

SEGA has gotten its balls out once more to get gadget gamers in the mood for Wimbledon this June and following a recent revival on Android devices 1999 classic sporting title Virtua Tennis takes to the court on Apple iPhone and iPad tablets.

Serving up the same “3D” simulation and fast-paced virtual action of the original Virtua Tennis Challenge now expands on the original and allows mobile gamers the chance to enjoy the multiplayer excitement over Wi-Fi of Bluetooth across the devices. Single player or doubles games are also an option and players can bash it out against fifty opponents. With victory comes skill and experience, so the more wins the better your character will develop and matches, which take place over eighteen different worldly locations, get harder as you progress.

But remember this is no racket your holding, so no going old school McEnroe on your expensive iPhone 4S!

Virtua Tennis Challenge costs just £2.99 is up on the Apple App Store ready to pick up and play, it features a training mode so you can start off gently before hitting the serious circuit and playing up against your mates. Alternatively, Android owners can also get their game on via the Google Play store right now!
