IconProject App allows you to create your own custom iPhone shortcuts (video)

If you’ve ever wanted to ability to be able to easily create your own shortcuts to appear on the home screen of your iPhone, in order to quickly activate/deactivate Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, or any other setting – I’m guessing you’ll want to know about a new app that will allow you to do just that.

Ok, so if you have a Jailbroken iPhone then yes, you can already do that. However, a new app called IconProject app will allow you to make an unlimited amount of icons on both your home screen and/or home screen folder without having to do the risky business of Jailbreaking your beloved iPhone. In addition you’ll also be able to create original artwork for your newly created icon shortcuts.

The app is really simple to use; firstly you create your icon, you’ll then have the option to customise it, which includes changing the colour and border, or perhaps adding your own photo. Once you’ve done that, you can then assign the newly created icon a shortcut like SMS, FaceTime, Mail or a specific URL to open.

For a more in depth look at the app, make sure you check out the demo video below.

IconProject is now available from the iTunes Store for $0.99 (69p).
