Amazon Becomes Official EGX Hub – Tickets on Sale Now!

Annual gamer-fest EGX is heading to the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham this September and the organisers have entered an exclusive co-op with online retailer Amazon, which will be selling not only tickets for the show but also allowing players to pre-order games during the show.

Running for four-days, EGX (the cooler, edgier name for Eurogamer Expo) begins on 22 September and is set to be a highlight of the gaming calendar for gamers and the press – all of whom will again clamber into the sweaty venue and queue for hours to button bash the latest and greatest titles from the world’s finest publishers and developers. As well as previewing new games attendees can try their hand at some of the tournaments on offer to crown Europe’s best of the best and also indulge in some cosplay as well as get tips from the games industries top creators in a career fair.

Amazon will be the official EGX Hub online, providing the ticket sales, pre-ordering for new games and a live Twitch feeds throughout the event and will also be hosting giveaways such as the current one which is the chance to win one of 100 free passes leading up to this year’s EGX by shopping through Amazon.

As mentioned, you can also buy your tickets on the retail website to guarantee you get in to the hottest games event in town – literally. We’ve been and all those consoles and neon lights chuck up some serious heat!

Starting in 2008 Eurogamer Expo welcomed 4,000 fans. Last year 75,000 passed through it’s door and EGX 2016 is set to be just as big, if not bigger. It’ll be hosted from September 22nd to 25th at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham. Full details of the expo and tickets on sale via www.egx.net.
