ChromiumPC – first desktop computer running Chrome OS

It’s been confirmed that the company who created the extremely small Modular computer, Xi3, will be the first manufacturer to release a Chrome OS desktop PC, and have decided to call it ChromiumPC.

The Xi3 Modular can easily fit into your hand – it’s that small – and has three interconnected modules; one for the processor and the other two are primary and secondary I/O modules. Don’t be put off by its size though, it has an abundance of connectivity ports so you shouldn’t have any worries connecting all your peripherals, and it’s all crammed inside a tiny aluminium body.

The ChromiumPC is expected to start shipping on 4th of July, unfortunately there is no information as yet on how much it will cost, although as soon as we find out, we’ll let you know.
