After Facebook recently announced that their new Subscribe button, which will allow you to decide exactly what you want to see on your Facebook news feed. Now, Facebook have just unveiled another feature that they are rolling out to users – the ability to update your Twitter through the social networking site as well, without the need of using third party applications.
The new feature now means that all users will be able to link their Twitter account with their Facebook page and when updating their status, this will automatically update Twitter as well; don’t worry though, only updates that you have set to be publically viewable will automatically be published to Twitter.
The feature has been available for a while now; however it was only possible to do this with Facebook pages that have been created specifically for businesses, bands or public figures.
The changes will now mean that users who are subscribed will be able to see update from any Facebook user, rather than just seeing friend updates.
It is expected that the new feature will be officially unveiled at Facebook’s F8 developers’ conference, which starts on September 22nd.
Remember though, this feature only applies to Facebook pages and not your regular Facebook Profile, which remains unchanged.
