Infinity Ward Threatens Ban to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Players Exploiting Black Box DLC Glitch

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 owners have been issued a hasty and hard-hitting warning from the game’s developer (via Twitter) regarding an exploit found in the new Black Box Map Pack which was released last week exclusively for Elite Premium subscribers to download on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Black Box was accompanied by two new Special Ops maps – Black Ice and Negotiator – but the map contained a glitch which has allowed some smart MW3 players to find “secret ledges” allowing them an unexpected advantage in the online multiplayer mode of popular first person shooter. Robert Bowling, Creative Strategist for Infinity Ward sternly addressed his followers on in the tweet which read “There’s a glitch in Black Box that allows you to get under the map” and following this “Fix already in the works, out by Friday. Don’t exploit, we’ll be banning.” – So, point out the glitch then not expect people to exploit it? Righto.

If you’re a Call of Duty gamer and don’t want to risk you Elite account or online play you can see one of the said glitches in the video below. But we don’t advise you try to find them for yourself, just in case one angry tweeter decides to do something about it!
