Activision and Treyarch look set to drop another DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 fans, with pictures of promotional material popping up early to tell us that the ‘Uprising’ download is coming.
By the looks of the poster above, Uprising will add five new maps to the game; Vertigo, Encore, Magma, Studio and Mob of the Dead. That last one will probably strike a chord with most – new Zombies level!
Mob of the Dead is a new Zombies map and is set on the Alcatraz island in the San Francisco bay. Further information about the map reveals that “top Hollywood talent” will play a part – perhaps a film star will be voicing one of the characters, or will in fact have a character based on them. As for who that will be, we don’t yet know, but in the past Activision has brought in the likes of Danny Trejo and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Our bet is on a character from the current smash hit series The Walking Dead.
Asides from Mob of the Dead the DLC pack will also feature Studio, which is a remake of Firing Range from the original Black Ops title – a personal favourite of this Gadget Helpline blogger!
As has become the trend, the Uprising DLC pack will be an exclusive to Xbox 360 gamers as of April 16th. It will become available on PC and PS3 at a later date, which as yet hasn’t been revealed.
