Xbox One owners and Windows 10 installers can now help shape the future of the united Xbox One/PC/Tablet experience by sampling the Xbox Beta App.

The Xbox Beta App has just launched through the Microsoft store online and is free to download, weighing only 60.18 MB. With it installed on an eligible device any Xbox One gamer can get involved in the preview scheme by giving it a go and then offering vital feedback back to Microsoft. Microsoft loves hearing from its audience and shapes its monthly Xbox updates on what the users want to see and the Xbox Beta App going public is another example of that valuable gamer/manufacturer relationship.

Gamers will of course need to have upgraded to the brand new (and currently still free to install) Windows 10 operating system on their desktop computer, laptop or tablet to use the Xbox Beta App which will offer gameplay streaming and sharing, real time friends activity from the Xbox news feed, as well as cross platform chat and messaging. Videos of new game footage are available to view and your best Gamerscores and achievements can be boasted about across the Xbox community as well, making for a most versatile app. And this is only the beta – it can only get better.
