But if anxiety is getting the best of you and you can’t wait to get usual stability improvements and brand new features including Device Protection and HD Voice calls you can check if your Android 5.1 update is ready right now by following these steps:
From the Home screen or Apps screen locate and tap Settings
Scroll to System and select it
Tap About Device/Phone/Tablet
If you need to check the Android version you are currently running select Android Version
Or to see if a new version is ready for you select System Updates
Tap Check for Update
If an update is available you will be able to choose Download to begin
Once downloaded and installed your device will reboot and new a Android experience will be at your fingertips!
