Apple CEO Steve Jobs biog comic book now on iOS (and Android!)

Who’s the latest super-power to iOS and Android in comic form? It’s not the Mighty Thor, The Man of Steel or even the Amazing Spiderman – it’s actually Steve Jobs. Yep, that clever bloke who ran Apple!

The CEO of tech-titan Apple Inc. got his own book this August shortly before his recent passing and the comic was released through independent publisher, Bluewater Productions. Featuring cover art of Jobs himself – looking like the next Lex Luthor – and created by award-winning artist Joe Phillips who has worked on titles such as Justice League of America, X-Men, and The Incredible Hulk among many other popular comic book names.

Bluewater’s publicity for the upcoming visual biography says that “Steve Jobs: Co-Founder of Apple” will focus on the CEO’s life, beginning as a college drop-out and through to his career and influence with Apple.

The hype, in true comic fashion, is epic and enthralling: “He’s been called an innovator, risk-taker, a visionary and a genius. He’s also been called unscrupulous, an egomaniac and a corporate pirate”.

Your friendly, neighbourhood Gadget Helpline bloggers predicted that the comic would land on iPhone and iPad – and generously its makers have made it available to Android owners so all tech fan, regardless of allegiance, can enjoy the life of Jobs!
